Here at Kirin we absolutely LOVE music. It's one of our many passions and a driving force behind what we do. That being said, a new feature to our blog will be the "Weekend Jam". This post will showcase a song (old or new) that we are feeling right now. First up, one of our favorite old artist teaming up with a current favorite. Fugees affiliate John Forte has been free for a while now and recording some pretty dope music. He recently did an acoustic set on the Soho House rooftop with impromptu guest Kanye West. Watch and enjoy as these two talented artist perform Ye's hit "Homecoming".

One of the most underrated aspects of fashion is accessorizing. Jewelry, ties, scarf’s, and countless other accessories can definitely help you step your style game up. My personal favorite is one that holds my pants up, although I love suspenders, belts have my heart. Dior Homme just unveiled a new belt that is high on my wish list for Fall. The W Color Belt is simple yet sleek and made completely from premium leather and canvas. The thing I love most about this belt is it’s so universal and can go with just about any outfit. Dressed up or down its still a good look. The belt is now available in both colorways at Restir. Don't be surprised if you see your boy rockin this piece real soon!

Dior Homme has really been holding it down with the kicks as of late. Kris Van Assche has taken it from futuristic, to casual, and back to streetwear, and we (along with our wallets) have followed him every step of the way. His latest shoe takes on a skater look and I have to say, I dig it. The multi colored leather/suede shoe does exactly what it should, take a simple design but make it look extraordinary. This shoe is very versatile. Its for the regular cat who loves kicks but also the Kanye's of the world. Whatever category you fall in, they are now available at Colette. It seems like just yesterday LRG was fresh on the scene and taking the streetwear world by storm. Now, 11 years later, they are atop the streetwear and skater culture while remaining a staple in the fashion industry. 2010 has been a great year for the line thus far and promises to get even better. LRG recently debuted their lookbook for the fall collection to much praise. The line features plaid button downs, striped crew-necks, hooded leather jackets, denim, and of course tons of new tees.
The shoot takes place in the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana. LRG enlisted the services of a few streetwear celebs for the lookbook. Rapper Curren$y, graffiti artist Pose & Augor, and of course the LRG skate team. Check out the behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot and some soon to be fall favorites.
